Sherlock Elementary School

This new 95,000 square foot, state-of-the-art PK-6 facility was built to replace the existing, outdated District facility. The new four-story, open concept elementary school features engaging learning spaces for 650 students. The flexible learning environments lend to an adaptive response to student needs based on different instructional methodologies, as well as changes in curriculum. Sherlock Elementary features an Exploratorium complete with two virtual classrooms, a live wall, as well as other interactive educational spaces that encourage a passion for learning. An outdoor rooftop classroom, featuring beautiful views of the Chicago skyline, inspires creativity. This cutting-edge school will exponentially enhance the students learning experience and remain a community landmark well into the future.
